In historical sources and on many portrayals, certain institutions attracted attention to it again and again: such as the European monasteries. Busy working monks who obtained the precious products of the bee in a perfected breeding. . A monk who carries the precious beehive protectively and filled with light – this is the most apt way to translate the design that is directly related to the restraint design. The hidden story of great joy and humility of what our world has in store for us in terms of treasures and how to generate new impulses from this thought – but do these impulses fit our fast-moving world? Perhaps the monk and the bee teach us that there must be a more difficult and strenuous way to bring light into the darkness. Veneer without plastic: The carrier body is made of veneer which has been glued with truly harmless skin glue and is painted with natural linseed oilpaint. The use of historical materials offers many possibilities especially regarding today’s questions about sustainability, which first entail experimentation and setbacks but at some point, it will result in new solutions and a change of thinking.
